Mother's Day Ideas
Mother’s Day is coming up in just a few days! Are YOU ready to make your mom feel special?
Here are just a few ideas to make her day the best, most relaxing day possible.
Start off with breakfast in bed!
Whip up a yogurt parfait filled with vanilla yogurt, strawberries, and yummy granola.
Spoil Mom with some peanut butter banana wraps. Start with a soft tortilla and spread peanut butter on it, then layer bananas and sprinkle chocolate chips and cinnamon to finish.
Stick a bagel in the toaster, and once it’s done, spread strawberry cream cheese and put a few strawberries on for garnish and taste.
Have the kids create a Mother’s Day card that is just as easy for them as it is for you!
What you’ll need: white card stock paper, red washable paint, a green marker, ribbon, and glue.
Fold the white sheet of paper in half, and have the kids dip their fingers in the red paint and press them down on an angle to make it look like a heart.
Have the kids draw green stems and leaves off of the roses, connecting at the bottom.
Tie the ribbon into a cute bow at the bottom, and glue it at the end of the stems.
Finish by writing something similar to “If flowers were moms, I’d pick YOU!” or “I’d always pick YOU to be my mom!”
Include a flower craft that the kids made on the tray for Mom when you bring her breakfast in bed!
What you’ll need: white card stock, paint or markers to color the flower, popsicle sticks, mini clothespins, green paint for the popsicle sticks and clothespins
What you need to do: Print off a flower template, and make sure to print two copies (one for the top and one for the bottom). Paint or color the flowers, and glue your flower templates together by gluing in the center only. Paint your popsicle sticks and clothespins green, and tape or glue the popsicle stick to the back of your flower. Write a message inside or outside wishing Mom well on her special day!
