We've all heard it said, Grand Rapids is Beer City USA. With over 80 distilleries within 60 miles of downtown Grand Rapids, it's easy to see why.  There are many ways to enjoy Beer city, in addition to trying the local beer, visiting local distilleries for drinks and fun. Have you ever wondered what happens to get beer into your cup? Going on a tour of a distillery takes you inside the journey of beer.  Here is a list of some great local distilleries who offer tours.


Brewery Vivant 
Tour the world' first LEED certified brewery that is also located in a funeral home, right in your own backyard! Tours are offered every Saturday. Brewery Vivant was voted best restaurant, best desserts, and second best brewery overall. There is plenty to explore in this unique brewery. 


Founders is one of the most loved breweries in Grand Rapids, see the guts and glory of what Founders is all about! Tours are offered Saturdays at 11:15 am and 11:45 am and Tuesdays at 5:30pm for $10. Tours come with a free pint glass with a logo as well! Saturdays at 12:30 pm there is a tour for $30 that includes a surprise that is always changing. 


B.O.B's Brewery
The B.O.B offers brewery tours free of cost! TImes and dates of tours are available upon request.  See the process of there many flavorful exotic microbrews. 


Cellar Brewing
This is another great local brewery that offers tours free of cost! (Except on Sundays). Guests can also touch the equipment and may be able to add flavors to beer if a new batch is being brewed. 


Grand Rapids Brewing Company
Grand Rapid's  Brewing Company is another local brewer that is dedicated to sustainability. Their brewhouse is filled with reclaimed materials. Tours of this local brewery are only $10.
