Springtime is in full effect! It feels like it couldn’t come sooner with all the harsh winter we had in Michigan. The area around Ada is in full bloom. Whats better than spending your time on National Trail Day with a group hike! Take some time out of your day to explore the beautiful land in our county. You might say, “Lets go right now!” Well, National Trail Day isn’t until June 1.
I know, it’s sad but that shouldn't stop you from exploring hiking spots around your area!
The path of the trail will be uneven terrain on non-paved trails in the woods. Having uneven terrain on a hike makes it so much more fun! It wouldn’t be a hike if it was a smooth path that went in one direction. Go out and have some fun exploring the surrounding land. If you want to stay later to go off the path to get your hike in, go for it! Be careful with where you are stepping so you don’t roll your ankle or step in something you are not supposed to.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 10:00 am - 11:30 am. It is a FREE event for all ages for some family fun! We will meet at Seidman Park, 8155 Conservation St NE, Ada, MI 49301.
The American Hiking Society will sponsor this event.
